Lorna is a practicing artist working from her studio in the Cotswolds. She began her career with a BA (Hons) Fine Art from Aberystwyth University, specialising in figure painting, and her work is now influenced by a range of artists, both classical and modern. In particlar, she finds the work of master figure-painter Ewan Uglow extraordinarily inspiring but is also a keen admirer of Picasso (particularly his portraiture), Oskar Kokoschka and the rather earlier paintings of Diego Velázquez.
Below is a selection of Lorna’s work. Animal portraits are a speciality and commissions are now being taken; please contact the artist for your personalised quote.
